Editorial policy
Silver Food Culture aims to be clear about what a story says, what supports it and what remains open to interpretation. We handle food traditions with care, avoid presenting one account as universal and make a distinction between editorial work and paid collaboration.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against appropriate source material and review names, terms and context before publication. Cultural claims need particular care: a custom may vary across families, regions and generations. We use specific language where the available context supports it, and avoid turning an example into a rule about an entire community. We do not present editorial content as medical, legal or financial advice.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and payment does not determine our conclusions. Any paid, sponsored or partner material will be clearly labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work.
Corrections
If a reader identifies a possible error, we review the point and the information provided. When a material correction is warranted, we update the relevant text and make the correction clear to readers. Send correction requests through the Contact page, identifying the story and the detail in question.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where this applies, we identify the image accordingly. Illustrations are not evidence for factual claims, and images should not be read as documentary records of a real person, place or food tradition.
